Brave Journey - 2022 Shiraz Touriga

"All new and unknown, not a shrub nor tree like those at home... Great was our joy to reach the goal of our voyage". Landing on Australian soil in December of 1848, the Brave Journey is the storied recollection of the two pioneering Jesuits who journeyed from Austria to the Clare Valley to build a new life in this foreign new world.

A blend of Shiraz and Touriga grapes. The Shiraz provides the blend with fruit depth and suppleness whilst the Touriga is renowned for its exotic aromatics.A bright and lifted aroma showing blackberry and blueberry fruit, hints of cocoa and vanilla, and a spice element of clove and star anise spice. The palate is medium bodied with a delicate fruit generosity and vibrancy delivering over structure and tannins.
